Training programs offer your employees business and management development skills, computer software training, technical training, and communications skills including English and Spanish as a second language. Training solutions can be delivered at your site or at one of our convenient College of Lake County campuses.

Continuing Professional Development helps you to enhance your current job skills as well as add new ones. Our courses provide you with training in business skills, workplace Spanish, real estate, construction management, hospitality, and teacher education. If you want a career change we offer programs like our new truck driver training program.

Illinois SBDC (Illinois Small Business Development Center)

A great place to start and grow your business

If you are an entrepreneur or if you are contemplating starting you own business, the Illinois Small Business Development Center offers you consulting and workshops. Geared to helping your small business grow, the Center's provides assistance in business plan development, referrals to small business service providers, advice in securing financial assistance and access to a business resource library.

Illinois PTAC (Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center)

Growth through government contracting

If you are interested in government contracting opportunities, the Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center provides assistance in marketing and selling your products and services to federal, state and local government agencies. Meeting the needs of entrepreneurs, established businesses and government, the Center helps your business access opportunities in the government market place.

Judicial Services

Growing a safer community

Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Lake County, the Judicial Services area offers you defensive driving courses, court training programs and volunteer opportunities with the Adult and Juvenile Probation programs. Available programs include the National Safety Council's defensive driving courses, including the Alive at 25 Teen Driving program, a course for divorcing parents of minor children and coordination of volunteers for Adult and Juvenile Probation programs.
