Operations Management

APICS, the Association for Operations Management is the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. The College of Lake County, in partnership with the Highlands Chapter of the APICS, is pleased to offer the first in a series of classes - Basics of Supply Chain Management.

The instructor, Dr. Pete Stonebraker, has over 45 years of experience as a practitioner and consultant in operations, logistics, and supply chain management with government and industry. He received his Ph.D. in operations from Arizona State University, is APICS certified as a Fellow and has taught a range of operations courses locally (DePaul, Northwestern, Loyola, IIT and Northeastern) and internationally in Europe and as a State Department grant recipient in Russia.
