New! Instrument Rating Ground School
Take your knowledge and skills as an aviator to the next level! Designed for novice and experienced pilots, CLC's Instrument Rating Ground School uses innovative classroom and hands-on learning methods to promote high levels of student success and enjoyment.
The class begins with an intensive weekend test prep session that will prepare students for the FAA Instrument Rating Knowledge Test. This approach has a demonstrated pass rate of over 90%. The remainder of the class will include lectures, labs, field trips and a flight simulation session that will build confidence, challenge intellect, and expand curiosity by exploring the world of aviation and preparing students for the Instrument Rating Checkride.
- Proof of U.S. FAA Private Pilot Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Proof of FAA test center registration for February 10, 11 or 12

Skip Goss is an aviation industry professional who has more than two decades of experience in training pilots of all backgrounds and skill levels. He is an FAA certificated airline transport pilot and flight instructor. As a testament to his character, experience, and integrity, Skip was selected and authorized as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner in 2007.
Mordechai Levin, FAA Flight Instructor and FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year, is widely recognized as one of the top international authorities in flight training and aerospace education. As Executive Director of Masterflight Foundation, Mordechai developed the most intense and fun ground school courses in the industry.
Course Cost: $999, fee includes all books, materials and lab fees. ($150 FAA Knowledge Test Registration Fee is NOT included).
