This 32-hour training program is provided to update and refresh law enforcement personnel in topics required annual or semi-annual basis. Topics include cultural diversity and racial profiling, ethics, use of force, control tactics and use of OC and expandable steel baton, weapons retention, handcuffing, sexual assault, domestic violence, legal updates, first aid, AED certification and hazardous materials procedures. Training is a combination of lecture and hands-on practical exercises. A signed liability form is required to participate in the training program and will be faxed to the department prior to the start of the program. Fall 2009
