Course Information

Law enforcement officers must know and understand each of the five levels of force which they may use in a given situation. This 8-hour course will review both the Federal and State laws, Supreme Court cases affecting these laws, criminal and civil liability attached to violations of laws, and report writing to accurately describe the officer’s actions. This course includes scenarios using the range simulator with ‘Real-life’ tactical situations. This course is certified through the Illinois Law Enforcement training and Standards Board for Illinois officers.
