How to Register

Register Online

Residents who are Seniors

If you are a senior, please call us prior to registering for courses offered by Continuing Professional Development. (This does not apply to SBDC courses.)

Know your 7-digit CLC ID?

  1. Create myLogin (You need only do this once).
  2. Register online through myStudentCenter.

Payment can also be made within myStudentCenter.

IMPORTANT: You will need the following information in order to register for your class:

  • the 4-digit class number
  • or, the subject code and catalog number

Forgot your 7-digit CLC ID?

Your CLC ID (e.g. student ID) is the 7-digit ID assigned to you after your admission to CLC. You can find your CLC ID on your welcome letter, any prior tuition statement, class schedule, grade report or priority registration notification.

Need a CLC ID?

Apply online as a Continuing Education student.

Returning students are automatically eligible to register if they have enrolled in a CLC class anytime in the last 5 years. Students need not to reapply, but should update address information by completing a Change of Personal Information form.

Make Payment by Due Date

Online

Payments can be made online through myStudentCenter using a credit card. CLC accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and all Novus cards including Discover.

By Mail

Make check payable to College of Lake County and include your student identification number. Mail to address below. Allow five days for delivery.

In-Person

The Cashier's Office, Grayslake Campus room A101 (see office hours below). A night depository at the Cashier's Office is provided for your convenience.

Cashier's Office Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Withdrawal Information

Students who withdraw from certificate programs or series offered by Continuing Professional Development prior to the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. Refunds for withdrawals after the first day of class, but within the first 15% of the class will be applied by CPD minus the cost of any materials returned in less than new condition.
